TOTEM UNDERLINES ONGOING COMMITMENT TO THE CHANNEL WITH TWO APPOINTMENTS
New Directors to Lead and Develop their Teams to Deliver Company's Objectives
Manchester, UK, 07/06/05 - Totem Communications, the UK's leading provider of inbound call handling solutions today announced it has further bolstered its senior management team with the appointments of Phil Gordon as Commercial Director and Steve Bannister as Customer Experience Director. Their appointments follow the recent employment of Jonathan Birchall as Channel Manager and further underline Totem's ongoing commitment to the channel market.
Phil and Steve will report directly to Chris Brassington, CEO, and will be based in Totem's Manchester headquarters.
As Commercial Director, Phil Gordon has overall responsibility for Totem's recently upgraded Olympic partner programme and is responsible for ensuring Totem delivers on its promise to support all of its channel partners. Phil is responsible for account management, technical consultancy, marketing and pricing.
In undertaking the new role of Customer Experience Director, Steve Bannister will ensure Totem delivers an unrivalled customer service experience. This includes responsibility for telephone account management and training.

Prior to joining Totem, Phil was Channel Director at Sage Software. In this role, he was solely responsible for new business development and for managing all of Sage's channel partners. Phil has over 15 years commercial experience within sales and marketing in a number of industries including consumer electronics and software.
Steve joins Totem from Your Communications, where as Head of Service Delivery, Mobile, Voice and Data, he was responsible for developing and delivering customer experience strategies. Throughout his illustrious senior management career within blue chip and SMEs including IDN Telecom, the AA and Capita, Steve has maintained a customer-centric approach.
