Totem appoints Jonathan Birchall as Channel Partner Manager

Manchester, UK, 18/04/05 - Totem Communications, the UK's leading provider of inbound call handling solutions today announced the appointment of Jonathan Birchall in the newly created role of Channel Manager - New Business.

Reporting to sales director, Ian Dunsmore, Jonathan is entirely focused on new partner acquisition. His goal is to recruit and build 12 sizeable new partner alliances by the end of March 2006.

Jonathan joins from MCI, provider of Managed Network Services, where he was in a new business role, bringing onboard strategic enterprise accounts in retail and manufacturing sector. Prior to MCI, he held account management positions at CNT, Equant, COLT and Cable & Wireless.

Ian Dunsmore, sales director, Totem, said: "Jonathan is joining the team at a crucial time as we are relaunching our Partner Program next month. Forging relationships with key industry players is going to be essential as Totem expands. Jonathan brings with him a wealth of experience in building successful partnerships for a range of companies from privately held-starts up large global telcos.
